THE TALES OF THE ARABIAN NIGHTS (c)1985 Interceptor ---------------------------------- COMMENT by Magnus Arabian Nights is for me a classic game, I remember a friend bought this and we played it till we dropped. There was nothing really revolutionary about it, except for perhaps the synthe- sized speech. Hear "Imrahil began his quest on Sinbad's ship!" It's up to you to rescue her. The game begins aboard one of the Sultan's ships where you must collect, in order, the golden jugs each bearing one of the letters in the word A-R-A-B-I-A-N. Various unpleasant creatures infesting the ship will make your task harder. After you have made your way upriver, the next stage is set in a great cavern where you encounter Al-Khemized and his genies. Once again, you have to put the jugs in the right order. You must then cross the desert to get to Baghdad. At the city gates you have to sort out the jugs yet again while avoiding the hail of arrows and boulders. Then it's on to the garden, where you must avoid the arrows fired at you, and into the palace where you have to order the jugs for one last time. Having rescued the Princess, you must make your getaway on a magic carpet, while avoiding the arrows and birds en route.
