STORY Only the foolhardy would risk an encounter with the unknown perils that lurk in the murky depths of Darkwood Forest. Yet there is no alternative, for YOUR quest is a desperate race against time to save the village of Stonebridge from its ancient doom. You are armed only with a sword, and have a backpack containing enough food for nine meals. You will begin your adventure by giving your character a name and determining your Skill, Stamina and Luck scores, which will be needed in combat. LOADING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Turn the computer off then on again. Rewind the cassette fully and press the tape counter reset button on the cassette deck. 2. Hold down the SHIFT key and tap RUN/STOP. The program will load and run automatically. 3. Leave the cassette deck on PLAY. The adventure loads in several blocks. When the end of one block is reached, the next block will load automatically.
